Our story
When former NASA engineer and Georgia Tech PhD Ankit Shah watched his grandfather struggle with Parkinson's Disease, he saw an opportunity to transform patient care. In 2020, he founded UGen Health to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and home-based rehabilitation.
This vision led to the creation of wearable devices that provide real-time live movement guidance and correction. The result is hybrid rehabilitation that maintains in-person clinical accuracy at home, on your own—helping patients stay active and recover with confidence.
Continuous iteration and improvement
We got here by building, testing, and learning first hand with healthcare providers and patients. We are on our third iteration of cutting-edge wearable sensors for the shoulder and knee--with more to come.
